Cornerstone Colosseum

The Cornerstone Colosseum is a dual-channel overdrive with a modified Bluesbreaker overdrive circuit on the right side and Cornerstones interpretation of the Klon Centaur on the left. The Bluesbreaker side has had it’s clipping diodes removed in order to avoid the volume-drop and at the same time provide a less dark tone. A clean blend inherited from the Gladio SC has been added in order to keep definition of pick-attack and clarity in string separation.

The Klon Centaur side features the mythical 1N34A Germanium diodes, which gives the extra mojo and punch as known from the original. At the same time the clipping structure has been modified, so it is possible to go seamlessly from the softer and more gentle sound of the germanium to full-on in-your-face silicon drive. Each side can be used independently or combined, and the order of the channels can be reversed with the Order switch.
